SEXUAL
DEMONS AND CHILD ABUSE
“There
are more things in heaven and earth Horatio than are dreamt of in your
philosophy” (W. Shakespeare, Hamlet).
“Exorcism
is directed at the expulsion of demons or to the liberation from demonic
possession.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church 1673)
One
of the commonest forms of demonization is occupation by sex demons: incubi and
succubi (commonly known as “spirit husband” and “spirit wife”).
Demonization
(or demonic infestation) is very common and total possession very rare.
Demonization is “the inhabiting of the human body by a demon or demons to the
point where one or more areas of a person may be controlled. (Max Sculley)
CONFESSION:
In
the Catholic Church deliverance from the demonic is largely achieved by the
Sacrament of Confession. Some Protestant denominations like Anglicans and
Lutherans have adherents who belief in confession but omit absolution for some
reason though mandated by the teaching of Jesus Christ.” (Jn.20:23)
Also
the command to confess to one another in James 5:14f which must be interpreted
within the context of the anointing rite, where the elder (i.e. priest)
presumably hears the confession of the sick person before his sins are remitted
through the Sacrament.
The
practice of confession can be found in some Protestant Churches.
The devout, Lutheran pastor, Dr Frank Buchman was
largely instrumental in the highly successful 12 Step programme of Alcoholics
Anonymous which includes the need for a searching and fearless moral inventory and
confession of sins to another person. There is now a 12 steps programme for sex
addicts.
The
Lutheran pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer once wrote: “Have we not often been
deceiving ourselves with our confession of sin to God, have we not rather been
confessing our sins to ourselves and granting ourselves forgiveness and
self-forgiveness can never lead to a break with sin.”
The
healing ministry run by Fr. Joseph Wilson MSC in Gauteng also puts a big
emphasis on Confession – Sacramental confession for healing and deliverance
combined with the presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.
PAIN
of DEMONISATION
Though
demonization is not full possession it is nevertheless a terrible condition
that people have to suffer – often alone as they don’t want to be considered
‘crazy’. It can lead to suicidal thoughts. I have met so many people,
especially women who have had these problems for 20, 30 or 40 years but have
never revealed it to anyone not even their mother or a priest. Their relief in
being able to confess and get it off their chest is palpable. It makes it
easier for them to offload their dreaded secret if the confession situation
guarantees strict privacy and anonymity. Without this they will not open up and
so remain in their plight.
SEX
DEMONS:
One
of the most surprising discoveries for me is the prevalence of the
incubus/succubus demons (popularly known as the “spirit husband” or “spirit
wife”). The presence of these entities is usually a sign of promiscuity but not
always. (See catholicdeliverance.blogspot.com). Whilst promiscuity can
begin the incubus activities, any serious sin can start up again this activity
if it is in abeyance. (See Karolyne Roberts, Demons that have sex with you and
my experience www)
“Peter
Horrobin says: beware of judging! For example someone who has been abused day
in, day out and had no control over the situation and later becomes
promiscuous”.
(The
knowledge and fear of the Lord C.D.027)
I
suspect that St Mary Magdalene has been associated so long in the tradition
with sexual sin not because churchmen got their Marys mixed up, but because
most demons seem to be associated with sexual sin, whilst not the worst sin is
certainly very common. (Mary Magdalene is often confused with Mary, sister of
Martha and Lazarus or, with the sinful woman of Luke 7:36). Occult involvement, trauma and anger seem to
be the next commonest sins leading to demonization. I have seen many cases of
couples living outside the Sacrament of marriage getting demonized. Once truly
married this stops.
SEXUALLY
ABUSED CHILDREN:
“An unexplained area of
research remains, namely the connection between childhood incest and sexual
abuse, and the tendency to masturbate in adult life. I have very little doubt
that victims of sexual abuse and/or incest have various kinds of sexual
problems, and I believe that one of them is the early incidence of a
masturbatory pattern”. (John F. Harvey, OSFS The
Pastoral Problem of Masturbation. www)
One of the saddest things to come to my
attention is the number of children (male and female) who have been sexually
abused (most cases seem to have been abused at 6 years of age for some reason
and not by parents so much but usually by stepfathers, teenage siblings or
cousins and occasionally by male or female domestic staff). This childhood
abuse seems to lead to an unending life of tribulation e.g. one expatriate
European lady at 65 years recently told me she was raped at 6 years old which
led to a life of distress. At the age of 40 she decided to go back overseas and
confront her attacker only to find that he was dead. So at the age of 65 she is
still emotional about something that happened nearly 60 years ago. And there
are many like this.
Kevin
Lalor and Rosaleen McElvaney state in an abstract: “Childhood sexual abuse can
involve a number of psychological sequelae including low self-esteem, anxiety
and depression. Numerous studies have noted that child sexual abuse victims are
vulnerable to later sexual revictimization, as well as the link between child
sexual abuse and later engagement in high-risk sexual behaviour. Survivors of
child sexual abuse are more likely to have multiple sex partners, become
pregnant as teenagers and experience sexual assaults as adults”.
(Child
Sexual Abuse, Links to Later Sexual Exploitation)
ABUSED/ABUSERS:
But it gets
worse: “Studies also now indicate that about one third of people who are abused
in childhood will become abusers themselves … abuse in childhood increases the
likelihood in adulthood of problems ranging from depression and alcoholism to
sexual maladjustment and multiple personality”. (Daniel Goleman, Sad Legacy
of Abuse: the Search for Remedies, New York Times, Jan. 24,1989. www)
POSSESSION:
This endless
list of horrors experienced by abused children is capped by the possibility of
possession. Thomas Allen in his book Possessed quotes a psychiatrist as
saying “he did not know how his patients got possessed although he almost
invariably finds a history of sexual abuse in early childhood”. (p.238)
America’s
most famous Catholic exorcist Fr. Gary Thomas says in his experience of
deliverance 80% of people who come to see him have suffered from sexual abuse.
(America’s
Exorcist: Uncut Interview with Jon Oleksiuk. Part 1. Youtube)
In
the light of horrendous effects of child abuse one can understand the
indignation of Archbishop Buti Tlhagale OMI of Johannesburg when he says Church
law should be changed so that priests who commit sexual abuse are automatically
excommunicated. (cf Matthew 18:6)
SPIRITS
OF TRAUMA:
“Childhood
molestation is the main doorway for incubus and succubus spirits to enter into
your life…. The other main doorway is witchcraft” (Laneen Haniah Blog
18.10.2011)
After
sexual abuse a child often indulges in compulsive masturbation and experiences
sexual demons. Francis MacNutt writes:
“Spirits
of trauma move in when a person suffers a severe emotional trauma and is
unprotected spiritually”. (Francis MacNutt, Deliverance from Evil Spirits,
Chosen Books, p.182) “Spirits of trauma enter a person not through the victim’s
sin but through someone else’s “(p.184). It is hard to be certain in the murky
world of demons but perhaps the “spirits of trauma” are capable of morphing
into sexual demons such as “spirit husbands” or “wives” or the compulsive
masturbation attracts “unclean spirits”.
(See
Wikipedia, Sexuality in Christian Demonology).
It may be that spirits of trauma can be an
opening to others. Laneen Haniah believes “demons are genderless” and they may
be capable of multitasking so to speak. Or again there may be a simple natural
explanation that once sexual pleasure is tasted in childhood abuse there may be a desire to experience more. But this
would not explain the phenomena in some child abuse cases of blasphemous acts
like the child pushing sacred objects like a crucifix or a statue of Mary into
the vagina. This would suggest that something demonic is at work, perhaps
ritual or satanic sexual abuse.
These sexual
demons are not only very randy but seem to be jealous and possessive and chase
away all marriage suitors who come forward later as in the case of Sarah in the
Biblical Book of Tobit, who has an incubus demon called Asmodeus who
gets rid of all competitors! Many female sufferers can be perplexed as to why
so many of their courtships have ended in failure. Even if the abused person
eventually gets married, the husband can seem reluctant to get involved in
intimacy. The spirit husband seems determined that there will be only one
husband-itself.
Peter
Horrobin, the founder and international director of Ellel Deliverance
Ministries
has
some interesting observations on these matters in his excellent and monumental
book Healing Through Deliverance: the Foundation and Practice of
Deliverance Ministry.
“Wherever
there has been sexual abuse, however light or heavy it may have been, there is
a likelihood of demonization that will always seek to distort and damage godly
relationships.
For
example, a girl may have been sexually abused only once in early childhood. Traumatic
though the event may have been at the time, it is likely to have been well
buried among the other events of the past. However, the demon that came in
through the incident has not forgotten, so when the girl marries a Christian
man, the demon (often a spirit of fear) will do all it can to interfere with
their sexual relationship.
Distress
in this area will create maximum havoc in the relationship and destroy much of
the potential before God that the couple has as man and wife. It is not
unusual, therefore, to find that spirits that came in with the abuse surface
shortly after marriage, although they are usually not recognized for what they
are. Unless the woman is delivered, the couple are likely to experience a lot
of pain together before being forced to settle for a very inadequate sexual
relationship, or abandoning the relationship altogether” (P.385)
He
talks of the consequences of sexual abuse:
“Inability
to respond to love, which sometimes does not become obvious until after
marriage, when the sexual side of the relationship disintegrates through
apparent frigidity. Promiscuity – some abused people respond to their premature
sexual maturity by giving it license in promiscuous lifestyles” (P.405)
“Sadly
each time a person responds to the pain of the past with a new ungodly behavior
pattern in the present, the demonic grip can tighten as further demons are
given rights in the person’s life. For example, a teenage response of
promiscuity to a childhood pattern of abuse introduces fresh demonic power with
every promiscuous relationship” (P.406)
GENDER
IDENTITY CHANGE: AN EXORCISM:
If
Haniah claims demons are “genderless “then it may explain why some of those
involved with the occult and demons orientate towards genderlessness. The late
Vatican chief exorcist Fr. Gabriele Amorth wrote in his book An
Exorcist Explains the Demonic that Satanic influence can “lead to
confusion about one’s gender . . .
particularly in the young.”
The
Jesuit brothers Matthew and Denis Linn S.J in their book Deliverance Prayer
quote from the Archives of Sexual Behaviour of an article: Gender
Identity Change in a Transsexual: an Exorcism by a Doctor D.H. Barlow. In a
remarkably short time this confused, suicidal transsexual with effeminate
characteristics became heterosexual and showed “consistently masculine motor
behaviour” and “all of the components of masculine motor behaviour were
seemingly required in a matter of hours.” Barlow concludes his article: “What
cannot be denied however is that a patient who was very clearly a transsexual
by the most conservative criteria … assumed a long-lasting masculine gender
identity in a remarkable short period of time following an apparent exorcism.
An
alarming internet article by Claire Chretien: Satanic Temple Head: ‘more
than 50% of our membership is LGBTQ’, shows that a lot of those confused as
regards gender, who do not go forward for deliverance or exorcism end up deeply
into Satanism and the culture of death, including abortion. See article

APE
OF GOD:
The
best selling African American writer Laneen Haniah, who was badly abused
sexually as a child and suffered from sex demons has written:
“perceive
this sexual demon as an abusive, jealous spouse. Remember what you have
learned in this book about the marital covenant that is made through sex, and
understand that these demons want to marry you. Satan is always intent on
falsifying every experience that we were designed to have with our Creator.
As we were created to be one with Him and be His intimate bride, the devil
concocted his own plan to make us one with him instead.
“Through
spirit spouses, the devil is aiming to make us his bride. And although the term
“spirit wife” is used in association with men who are afflicted by these
powerful lust demons, understand that demons are genderless. Satan is
attempting to emulate, the Church being the wife of Christ, through these sex
demons. He wants to make all people, male and female, his unified bride. Just
as we are to be filled with the Holy Spirit of the Messiah, he aims to fill us
with his spirit.
Satan
is the driving force behind sex demons, trying to make himself your “spirit
husband”, in place of Yeshua. When you think about a jealous, abusive spouse,
you can understand that he wants to destroy every good relationship in your
life. This is especially the case in a marriage or an attempt to get married.
He wants to keep you financially poor, to prevent you from escaping. He wants
to keep you isolated to hide the scars that he leaves on you. He is the epitome
of domestic violence in your spiritual life!”

SPIRITS OF SEXUAL PERVERSION, 2013, p.277) See also Is. 62:5; Hosea
2:19; Eph. 5:25 f
“When
a succubus becomes a spirit wife it can rob a man of his health and wealth, and
destroy his relationship with women. When an incubus becomes a spirit husband,
it can rob a woman of her health and wealth, and destroy her relationship with
men. (Catholicdeliverance.blogspot.com)
SEXUAL
ADDICTION:
Many
of the abused children seem to suffer from sexual addiction later as often the
libido goes ballistic after abuse. Some even become nymphomaniacs or
satyromaniacs (males).
Kevin
Garcia in Childhood Sexual Abuse and Nymphomania (www) has some
pertinent observations e.g. he points out that nymphomaniacs are a minority
group among sex addicts for they represent 20% of them. “63% of female [sexual]
addicts reported to have experienced childhood sexual abuse compared to 39% of
male addicts”. (p.3)
“Sexual
addiction is defined by various authors. The main argument of agreement among
them is that sexual addiction/hypersexual disorder/erotomania/hyper sexuality
is marked by an uncontrollable engagement in the sexual activity causing
distress and impairment to the person’s life” (p.5)
Women
develop nymphomania out of engagement in the behaviour due a genetic
predisposition or from an environmental stressor such as trauma or
sexual abuse”. (p.6)
The
reasons as to why childhood sexual abuse may lead into hyper sexuality are
still investigated but one popular theory is the trauma theory”. (p.7)
“As
with both drug abuse and impulse control disorders, it [sexual addiction] may
start as pleasurable, but it transforms into an unstoppable cycle from which
the individual obtains great distress”. (p.8) N.B Emphases above are
mine.
Kevin
Garcia’s article above is obviously written from a purely secular view point
but looking at the situation from a spiritual angle, perhaps the trauma could
be “spirits of trauma” that Francis Mc Nutt talks about and the “great
distress” demonic activity.
PLEASURE
TURNS TO PAIN:
What
starts as “pleasurable” always turns to a source of “great distress” later.
Once people are hooked, then the pleasure turns to pains from torture that can
be relieved by deliverance or exorcism if intense prayer and fasting do not
work. Many confess that sex with a demon is more pleasurable than normal sex.
But then there is payback time when pleasure turns to horror, and sufferers do
anything to get free again!
One
naive young lady told me that when she comes home from work, she has an unfortunate
habit of sitting down in front of the T.V to watch porn and be pleasured by her
‘spirit husband’ whom she has called up. “The incubus or succubus can be
summoned with a ritual found on the internet. The results can be demonic
possession and a house infested with demons”. (Sex Demons …
catholicdeliverance.blogspot.com, see also Hilary White, Westminister
Exorcist Says Promiscuity can Lead to Demonic Possession www)
The
pain can also include physical pain like stabbing sensations and for females,
pain caused by what seems like numerous penetrations of the private parts or
the latter black and blue due to forceful entry. Some go to bed with a cross or
a Bible between their legs in hope of protection.
One
young American nun Sister May Dombroski who was seriously cursed writes: “One
day without warning, I felt as if an unseen perpetrator were raping my body. This
sensation was not like an ordinary arousal that can happen sometimes. It was a
far more aggressive experience than my own hormones could have brought about.
It was extremely frightening … this assault left me wounded. (Matthew Pinto, Twelve
Lives Transformed by the Theology of the Body, Ascension Press, 2009).
But
how can there be penetration as spirits do not have hard parts, so to speak? However
they do seem to have hard fists as the terrified sons of Sceva discovered in
Acts 19:11f!! St Paul talks of being violently assaulted by a demon in 2 Cor
12:7-10. One writer comments: “In verse 7 right after the ‘thorn in the flesh’
is mentioned, there is a phrase set off by commas which says “the messenger of
Satan to buffet me”. This is an explanation of what the thorn was. It was not a
thing but rather a demonic messenger and refers to a created being. So Paul’s
thorn was literally a demon from Satan to buffet him. The word ‘buffet’ means
to strike repeatedly as waves would buffet the shore”. (Andrew Wommack
Ministries www) St Francis of Assisi said “God occasionally allows them
[demons] to distress us as St Paul tells us of himself in “2COR.12;7.” (Legenda
Maior 6:10)
Paul
Thigpen has written a book about the violent ‘buffet’ that some saints endured:
Saints Who Battled Satan, Tan Books, 2015 e.g Saint Francis of Assisi,
John Vianney and Padre Pio.
PSYCHOLOGICAL
EXPLANATIONS?
However
is all this talk of the demonic not mistaken? Are there not better
psychological explanations? But some psychological explanations I have looked
at are not very convincing and seem to die the death of a thousand
qualifications! (See wiki) Can sex demons not be a case of wishful thinking by
simple individuals with fertile imaginations like the sex-starved sailors of
the past on the ocean for long periods who imagined sea cows from a distance as
nubile mermaids!
St
Augustine was a very perceptive psychological writer as is evident from his Confessions.
He was rather skeptical of reports of sexual demons at first, but said “there
were too many attacks by incubi to deny them”.
Other
great saints agreed with him e.g. St Gregory of Nyssa, St Albertus Magnus, St Thomas
Aquinas etc. and the Protestant Martin Luther . Henri Boguet (1550-1619) and
Lutheran pastor Johann Meyerforth (1590-1642) “supported the idea that demons
provoked an imaginary coitus because they did not have sexual
organs”…(Wikipedia, Sexuality in Christian Demonology)
Fr.
Gary Thomas the American Exorcist and subject of the book The Rite: The
Making of a Modern Exorcist by Matt Baglio is adamant that “incubus demons are
real and have intercourse with people and the afflicted will have all the
experiences of what it is like to have intercourse but not be able to see the
entity. They feel the orgasm and everything leading up to that … (America’s
Exorcist, Uncut Interview. YouTube).
Adam Blai in Hauntings, Possessions and
Exorcism lists some of the common misunderstandings, medical illnesses and
mental illnesses attributed to demons e.g.
1.
Sleep disorders including sleep paralysis is a
malfunction of the natural immobilization of the body during sleep”. He

I have come across
people with sleep paralysis but not demons and people with both.

WORLD
RELIGIONS
I ask above
if sufferers are simple folk. Of those I know many are well educated
professional people of all nationalities. Besides the sex demon phenomena is a
worldwide one known in all the major world religions and cultures. Francis mac
Nutt gives regional variations of incubi e.g. India has Andarvar who according
to popular belief is a very evil spirit who possesses women; he is very lustful
and wants to rape women. These afflicted women actually experience this ‘god’
coming during the night and raping them. They all say it was not a dream …that
it actually happened while they were awake. (Most people know the difference
between dream and reality, between sex dreams and sex predators and talk of the
latter as leading to penetration and/or orgasm and/or post coital wetness.
A
PASTORAL PROBLEM
I believe that
there is a vast pastoral problem here that is not being attended to. Pastors of
all denominations, due to fear don’t even want to talk about the problem and
dismiss people as “crazy” or having multiple personality problems or being psychotic.
Marriages are being ruined as young women with spirit husbands have to stand
Sarah-like watching potential husbands chased away. People sexually abused as
children have to suffer a lifetime of distress because there is no one to share
their problems with: Adam Blai has an interesting fact based on his wide
experience of working with demonized people and exorcists: “When people are
abused or neglected as children the demon may offer companionship or the power
of protection, which the person may grow to rely on over the years”. Hauntings,
Possessions and Exorcisms, Emmaus Road, Publishing, 2017, P.13.
Peter
Horrobin writes: “Demonic imaginary friends (sometimes mistaken for “angels”)
are also a very common manifestation of the presence of demons in the physically
abused. They become a listening ear that always understands. What the child can
never understand, however, is that the demonic friend is working hand-in- hand
with the demons in the abuser, in order to increase the demonic stranglehold on
the victim”. (P407).
Daniel
Goleman says that “children fare better after abuse, researchers have found,
when they have someone in their life – a relative, teacher, minister, friend –
who is emotionally nurturing (Sad Legacy of Abuse. www.nytimes.com) – not
dismissive and disbelieving!
PORNOGRAPHY
I believe
the problems above will get worse due to porn. Shane Morris in Joy Magazine
(March 2013) says that “porn is one of the greatest threats to Christianity”.
He quotes apologist and author of over 115 books, Josh Mc Dowell as finding
that “over 50% of pastors struggle with pornography”. Porn leads to erectile
dysfunction and so the only way to get sexually aroused then is by ‘perverted
sex such as child porn or sexual violence. (see Doug Mainwaring: Internet
porn: the hightly addictive narcotic emasculating young men through erectile
dysfunction. (www). Dr. Marie – Paul Ross a sexologist said she believes
that “above all the crisis of sexual abuse incurs in a context where society
encourages pedophilia and sexual deviance [mainly because of pornography] (Southern
Cross 10/04/18)
Dr.
Ross refers to societies encouraging pedophilia. Perhaps this includes South
Africa if local gay activist Kevin Bishop is to be believed when he said:
“Scratch the average homosexual and you will find a pedophile” (Electronic Mail
and Guardian, June 30, 1997), as the South African government and some
churchmen encourage the homosexual LGBT movement. The lately lamented Justice
Edwin Cameron and LGBT activist in his book Defiant Desire called
child molestation “positive and formative”. (See Christine Mc Cafferty and
Peter Hammond, The Pink Agenda: Sexual Revolution in South Africa and the Ruin
of the Family, Christian Liberty Books, pp. 117 and 121) A new Vatican Document
entitled Male and Female He Created Them says
gender theory is “cultural and ideological revolution”.
Porn
in South Africa has hit big time with a taboo breaking BDSM movie: “Fifty
Shades of Grey breaks major records in South African cinemas” (Channel 24)
(BDSM equals Bondage, Domination, Sadism and Masochism). In other words
fantasies of the sexually jaded palettes of the bored and decadent European
aristocrats Marquis de Sade and Leopold von Sacher-Masoch have gone mainstream
in South Africa.
The
Catholic News Service (2.11.2015) said of the “Fifty Shades that it “risks conveying the idea that all women are
potentially willing victims of physical abuse and humiliation”. But this does
not seem to faze many South Africans. This movie is banned in three Brics
Nations: China, India and Brazil but seems to be no problem in South Africa
where it is sold in supermarkets and music shops notwithstanding the howls of
rage during “16 Days of Activism for no Violence Against Women and Children”
and “Womens Month”!!
However
the greatest porn threat to children comes from UNICEF and its promotion of
Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE). This is the most perverted Sex Ed to
come from Planned Parenthood, the world’s largest provider of abortion and was
introduced into South Africa by the Democratic Alliance (D.A) into Eastern Cape
a few years ago and is now being rolled out in South African Schools.
It
teaches kids as young as 5 oral and anal sex, mutual masturbation and
encouraging children to experiment sexually with members of the same sex and of
the opposite sex, teaching sodomy as normal, how to use sex toys and
sadomasochistic activity like bondage. So setting them up for a life of sexual
bondage, sexual addiction, like nymphomania/satyromania and
demonization. Those into sexual grooming know that kids interfered with at an
early age become flirty and promiscuous and that is exactly what the ghoulish
Cultural Marxists of the Frankfurt School wanted e.g. George Lukacs in Revolution
and Eros sees sexual instinct used as an instrument of destruction! Herbert
Marcuse who favoured polymorphous perversion promised that “overcoming
capitalism and its false consciousness will result in a society where the
greatest satisfactions are sexual”. (Timothy Matthews. The Frankfurt School:
Conspiracy to Corrupt;
K.R
Bolton, Cultural Marxism: Drugs, Development and Significance.;
Alexander Zubatov, Just Because Anti-Semites Talk About Cultural Marxism
Doesn’t Mean It Isn’t Real’. (The Tablet 29.11.2018)
In
my experience, children who indulge in sex play (even if they have not reached
the age of reason and the possibility of sinning) seem to begin compulsive
masturbation even if it is only “playing father and mother” or “foolin around”
as the Americans say. The following quote by G.K.Chesterton was obviously
referring to adults but it can also apply to children:
“Sex
cannot be admitted to a mere equality among elementary emotions or experiences
like eating and sleeping. The moment sex ceases to be a servant it becomes a
tyrant”. So we can see that the C.S.E. will be opening a real can of worms, a
Pandora’s Box that we may not be able to close again.
The
prophetic pastor David Wilkerson, author of the multimillion-copy The Cross
and the Switchblade said one day a flood of filth would envelop the earth (The
Vision, 1993) and Pope Benedict said this filth has entered the Church!
“It
is not against flesh and blood that we fight, but against the principalities
and powers and world rulers of this present-darkness and against spiritual
hosts in heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12)

A
Personal Comment by Someone
Sex
demons: It is good that you mention that the presence of these spirits are not
purely as a result of promiscuity because I know some virgins who have
struggled with this spirit. It is important to note that these spirits can be
present as a result of a curse. With the aim of tormenting, causing one to be
promiscuous and ensuring you never forget an ex-lover or maybe even go back for
more love. Also as a result of sins related to sex i.e. masturbation, impure
thoughts, watching pornography etc.
These
sins can create an opening for the spirit.
In
a case I have come across, the lady started struggling with this demon after a
bad breakup with an ex boyfriend. In this case, it was important for her to
pray fervently for the particular ex-boyfriend (Luke 6;27-28) and the priest to
cut the soul tie during her confession, in order for the person to be delivered
of this spirit during deliverance prayers.
In
some cases, when the molestation takes place in the dream, the spirit can
either take on the image of a familiar face (husband or boyfriend or any male)
or it is seen as a scary looking creature that looks half human and half beast
like. In some cases, one cannot even see what is on top of them but they can
feel the effects of the activity. The question remains, does the human being
sending this spirit, if its a curse, benefit in anyway while the spirit molests
another?
Spirits
of trauma: My understanding is that demons are given a certain mandate to
operate under and this can be to cause a certain affliction or perhaps more
than one type of affliction. I do not think I am in agreement with the morphing
concept. I do however, believe that demons are able to create an opening for
other spirits. For example, if a person happens to be involved in a car
accident, naturally the spirit of trauma may enter and begin to operate. Then,
the person might start having fits and foaming at the mouth etc. Doctors might
diagnose this as Epilepsy resulting from the impact of the car accident. In
some cases, this is more spiritual than medical. The person can be delivered of
this
Epilepsy
spirit with deliverance prayers. The only point I am trying to make is that,
the spirit of trauma, can allow other spirits to enter such as fear, infirmity,
sexual spirits to name a few.
You
might know that there are also at times, the smaller demons which protect the
stronger ones. Hence deliverance or exorcisms tend to take place over a period
of time because the weaker spirits leave first but the stronger ones tend to
remain and pretend they are not there. This is why follow up prayers are
important. This is possibly not relevant here.
Your
point about the sex demons being possessive is true. One of the ways that it
also causes peoples relationships to fall apart (spirit of Division or in Zulu,
isiChitho) is that, once the spirit has taken advantage of a person, the body
tends to react as if real life physical intercourse took place. So the woman
would generally excrete fluids through the vagina as if they have had an
orgasm. So sometimes, the male partner starts to suspect their woman of having
cheated on them because of the excess wetness.
The
devil is very legalistic so some people have found confessing the fact that
they enjoyed the pleasure given by the spirit, to be of great help. Enjoying
the sex given by the spirit as mentioned in the article, is sometimes
inevitable. So this, in a way gives rites to the spirit. It helps to confess
it.
Towards
deliverance: Remember the kind of sin and the NUMBER of times the sin was
committed. This is important.
I
will leave it here for now but I think we can conclude that these spirits do
not operate alone but seem to go hand in hand with spirits of Trauma, Division
Infidelity, Fear and Poverty.

SEX
DEMONS, INCUBI AND SUCCUBI Abridged. (catholicdeliverance.blogspot.com)
It
is common for people with sexual sins (sexual fantasy, masturbation,
fornication, pornography, adultery and/or homosexual practices) to be harassed
or seduced nightly by sex demons (demons of lust) with vivid sexual dreams and
sexually-explicit nightmares. (Sex demons can invade our dreams with
pornographic fantasies of having sexual relations -- even with members of the
same sex!) But some people are attacked, molested or raped “nightly” by sex
demons (incubi and succubi).
“Last
night as I lay on my bed, I heard someone whisper my name… Something spread my
legs, and I was full of lust. It got on top of me and I could hardly breathe. I
couldn’t move. Then it (an “incubus”) started having sex with me! I know this
sounds crazy but it happened.”
The
unwanted spirit would visit her during the night. It would sexually stimulate
her until she was powerless to resist. Then, she would succumb.
A
few years ago, I was contacted by a man being harassed every day by sex demons
(demons of lust). The attacks had been so subtle that he didn’t recognise them
as being demonic. At first he thought he had some kind of flea infestation in
his carpet. The (invisible) fleas would attack his eyelashes, nose and ears…
They would swarm around his legs -- and then swarm to his crotch, sting his
genitals and sexually stimulate him.
INCUBI
AND SUCCUBI
The
incubus is a fallen angel – a sex demon in male form that seduces and lies upon
a woman during the night in order to have sexual relations with her. The
succubus is a sex demon in a female form that seduces and lies upon a man
during the night in order to have sexual relation with him.
While
asleep in bed, the woman or man is sexually aroused by some kind of (cold) dark
presence in the room. It is a lustful presence that seduces… and stimulates. It
is an entity that eventually attempts sexual penetration.
Many
women enjoy having “spiritual sex” with an incubus, a passionate lover that
becomes a jealous “spirit husband.” Many men enjoy having “spiritual sex” with
a succubus, a passionate lover that becomes a jealous “spirit wife.” Pleasant
sexual arousal, seduction and carnal intercourse (during the night) can lead to
unwelcomed sexual advances, molestation and rape (anytime). These sex demons
feed upon the sexual energies of women and men. (The result is the
deterioration of health). Compliance with the demon’s desires is rewarded;
resistance is severely punished.
When
a succubus becomes a spirit wife, it can rob a man of his health and wealth and
destroy his relationships with women. When an incubus becomes a spirit husband,
it can rob a woman of her health and wealth and destroy her relationships with
men.
This
spirit causes failure in my relationships with men. Things spiral downward. I
noticed this in my last relationship. “Oh I loved him and he, I. A promising
young man when we met (but) wasn’t that much by the time we went our ways.
The
incubus or succubus can be summoned with a ritual found on the internet. The
result can be demonic possession and a house infested with demons. (I have
encountered such)
Evil
spirits attack and exploit weakness and vulnerability, they exasperate mental
illness, and when doors are opened through sinful behaviour … they enter in. In
the case of incubus or succubus, it could be sexual sin and perversion,
abortion, sex magic… it could be a curse. (Incubi and succubi can be summoned
and sent) It could be dabbling in witchcraft or the Occult. But a door has been
opened; consent has been given.
I
know a woman who was once a victim of the sexually-stimulating attacks of an
incubus. It began with a sexual relationship with a sorcerer, a practitioner of
black magic. She told me he had performed “sex magic” on her. This was the
“open door” – her consent given.
Some
time later, this woman (touched by evil) was working in the sex industry. She
soon started her own “telephone sex” business with another man. Her perverted
sexual sins provided another open door.
When
the incubus entered her life, the woman welcomed the sexual pleasure it gave.
She told me it would “lick” her while she was alone in bed – but it did not end
there! When I met her, she was suicidal, hearing voices… and being sexually
assaulted by a demon! (Incubi and succubi are very real.)
When
a woman is in mortal sin – not in a state of grace -- prayer will have little
effect on the incubus. So too, when a man is in mortal sin – not in a state of
grace – prayer will have little effect on the succubus. And for one who has not
been baptized, there is no protection.
Deliverance
is possible through the Sacraments of the Catholic Church
If
you are serious about stopping these spiritual attacks, you must get serious
about living a Sacramental life -- a holy life. This means attending Daily Mass
as often as possible and going to Confession as often as needed (when you fall
into sin, or at least monthly). You need to grow in “sanctifying grace”.
[Sanctifying grace stays in the soul. It’s what makes the soul holy, it gives
the soul supernatural life]. If you are unwilling to make such commitment, you
will have limited defence against these spiritual attacks.
Sometimes
the “renewal of baptismal promise” is needed. Ask your priest to do the Renewal
of Baptismal Promise and Sprinkling with Holy Water (as is done every Easter).
Women
may need to be delivered from a “spirit husband.” Men may need to be delivered
from a “spirit wife.” Some may need a formal exorcism (by a Catholic priest).
All will need prayer for inner-healing.
If
you are serious about stopping these NIGHTLY spiritual attacks: become a DAILY
Communicant.
The
incubus or succubus will return (Matthew 12:43-45 / Luke 11:24-26.) And when it
does it must find all doors closed! It must find the person in a “state of
grace” and “Sacramentally” fortified.
The
incubus is often referred to as a “spirit husband.” The succubus is often
referred to as a “spirit wife.” A severe case of incubus is found in the Book
of Tobit (Chapter 6:13-18). New American Bible.

A
DEAD PROPHET POKES ME (Daily Sun Newspaper 11/8/2016 There are many articles in
the Sun similar to this one)
Whenever
Nthabiseng was faced with life’s problems she was quick to go to a prophet to
seek help.
But
then her prophet died and her life became a living hell.
That’s
because Nthabiseng said her dead prophet pokes her all night long and refuses
to stop!
Nthabiseng
Tsholo (36) from Vosloorus in Ekurhuleni said she is now tired of making love
to a dead man who used to be her healer.
“The
prophet helped me find a job and a man to love. He was so helpful.
“I
always went to him when I had serious problems,” said Nthabiseng.
Then
the prophet died in 2014.
“I
went to his funeral and I was heartbroken about his death,” she said.
Three
months after the prophet died, Nthabiseng claimed she started hearing voices of
a man telling her what to do.
She
said the dead prophet then started forcing her to sleep with him in her dreams.
Nthabiseng
said: “At first I enjoyed the dreams, but then it became a pain because the
dead man would keep demanding more.
“I
would wake up with my lower body wet, tired and in pain.” She said she had
sought help from other prophets and sangomas to get the dead man out of her
bed, but no one has been able to help her.
“I’m
tired of making love to a man whom I know we buried.”
Nthabiseng
said: “The dead man follows me wherever I go. He becomes angry and jealous when
I speak to men or when I go to church where the preacher is a man. I cry every
day and night. I have no peace in my life,” she said. Daily Sun 11/08/2016.
